Description
I wanted to create a picture with a curving horizon. Initially I was aiming for some tropical view with a bright blue sky and bright blue water. However, I found that I would need Vue Infinite to be able to generate enough trees. Then I found this picture of a sky and added a colour perspective to the camera, which made the sky rather threatening. This reminded me of my fear of deep, dark water, so I removed my initial coastline and added something threatening in the water...
No postwork except for the frame and text.
Thanks to Thomas Krahn for the sky.
Please comment. Thank you.

It's a little simple, but the colours are nice. Some birds and better anti-aliasing would improve much!

WOW 5,5,5 This is just awesome work. IT totally looks like a photo. THe perfect textures on the boat and that water is exactly what you were striving to achieve. Outstanding work.

I agree on the anti-aliasing, however I don't think that it is disturbing, and it would take too much time to render. The luminous face in the water adds dramatically to the render time. Personally I don't think birds are necessary. The sky is interisting enough the way it is. And as to the simplicity, it is deliberate. Sometimes, simple is more dramatic than complex. Thank you Trepz and Gary and Catherine for your supportive comments.
