Description

This was the image that tought me that a 1600 stochastic sample was the answer to "dark blotches". Just 5 hour render (so long!!) but i liked the result. I just added a bit of skin texture on the grim characther and the fridge glow in Photoshop. I tried to lighten the inside of the fridge but i was hopeless :( Thanks for ur comments and for stopping, aLex,

I like it, the black blotches are actually quite nice in this image. I've experimenten a lot with HDRI (and insane render times...sigh) and learned somewhere that radiosity in combination with an area light works quite well for render artifacts. Perhaps you could replace the glow in the fridge with an area light, turned your radiosity settings down and see how that works out? Anyways, very stylish image, and great mood. My compliments!
