Thanks very much everyone for your comments. Bee, I this did as one of a series to have a go at illustrating a children's story poem I wrote a few years ago. I've made a start on half a dozen pictures but am hoping to do around twelve in all. I'm hardly prolific and even though I am improving and getting quicker with Photoshop, It's going to be a lengthy project to get all the pictures done to the standard I want to acheive. I made the mistake of posting this on another site in it's present state i.e not quite finished and it got a bit of a slamming from some accomplished artists - mainly related to what they felt was poor colour work but they did give me some constructive feedback aswell. Anyway I shall keep plugging away and hopefully get there eventually. Thanks for your interest : )
