Description

These are some illustrations I've created for a 128 page graphic novel i've commited too. Expect to finish it in around a year and a half. I wanted to get some feedback about the style of illustration...Is it good enough? Will it work? The right hand image is purely a B&W layout without background or colour or final detail (That's to be added later) So i've added the image on the left to give everyone an idea of what the finished work will look like. Feedback realy needed and appreciated! After all... I'm going to spend a good part of my life doing this! Cheers Tris BTW... it looks wierd without viewing it in full size.

I really like this my only critique is with such beautiful line work maybe you should make the colouring sharper and less airbrushed looking, have you played or seen the computer game X111? that cel shaded style would be better i beleive. ps please send me a signed copy when you're done (i will pay for it)

Both are great in their own right. The B/W has more dramatic shadows (detailed). The colors are of course more natural looking. B/w is best for spotlighting specific things or individuals, the colors are best for general story lines. Both could work in your project, but if it is one or the other, I go for the color... Awesome...

Quote: Awesome....!!! Who is the publisher... Dark Horse, DC, Marvel???? Wish it was...Going alone on this one! Just me and the writer to begin with but hoping that it'll generate interest from one of the bigger comic houses once we have a couple of chapters under our belts. Thanks for the complement though (nearly shashes monitor due to size and weight of head) :P
