Description
Out along the silver path
Step over the glistening glass
And follow close to my memory
That stretches far from sea to sea
Two pale moons on either side
Entering gates now opened wide
The vision you're meant to see
Is hidden in the scenery
There are no sailors at the shore
Since I have come there no more
And the fish that once adorned the sea
Have all left for the factory
Skies here to there are all the same
Yet here all clouds do remain
Milking the sea to cause the rain
That drives the boats of man insane
Once held within my consciousness
The sea to me was the witness
To all washed away in disgrace
Left barren to commercialed space
When night rides the water's foam
And leaves nature to sleep alone
Each folding wave of memory
Follows the long white journey
