I am so pleased to be a member here at Renderosity. For me Renderosity is much more than a place to display my works. I have made many friend's here. I take so many photographs but I do not like to have my own photograph taken.. I actually like this shot. I say a huge thank you, to My Goha for postworking this shot for me. The original shot was taken up at my friend's house. He put this wonderful swing in the largest tree on his land! Iccle pushes me up so high!! The swing is over precipice, so not for the faint hearted... but such fun.. I love to be at their house and feel like a child again on this swing. I will tell you why I choose my RR name, "Rainbows". When my niece Victoria was a very little girl, she used to say to me.. Auntie DiDi "I love you, all the world and rainbows". I love her just as much as she loves me. She is older now and our love for each other is so strong. A beautiful day is wished for you all. Hugs. Diane.

Diane, is that you in front of the truck in the foreground? Otherwise, you are well hidden to these old eyes. I do like the photo. Fine work. Thanks.

Instantly recognisable place - everything about the town is so photogenic it seems. Well captured and processed.

This is not the same abbey which was featured in Bram Stoker's Dracula, is it? Incredible contrast between the (relatively) desolate skyline and the busy harbor and village!

@ Denger, yes you are spot on right. Indeed it is the same Abbey of Bram Stoker's writings.. I have a couple of shots in my gallery of Whitby Abbey. It is truly an awesome place, Good night and hugs Diane.
