Description
In this piece I was exploring the idea of what it feels like to grow and change...at that very moment where you perhaps say AHH! That is the part of me holding me back or keeping me in fear...that is what I have been missing...that is my false self....etc. and you let that part of you die so to speak and you become reborn and new...a stronger and more powerful person! However, change is never easy and losing who you were to become who you are...well there is a certain struggle in that...and that is where I was going with this piece. Enjoy!

So, the new face is not yet established, there's a strong feeling of change to it... Also tension and lack of comfort, in contrast to the old, satisfied mask that you've left behind... Love the colors too. Exquisite work.
