Description

Two Standard Hours later and they had almost finished. Still no sign of the damn buyer. She would warm up the engines and get ready for leaving. If he wasn't here by then she would leave the shipment where it was and contact him later to give him a piece of her mind. She wasn't waiting any longer than that. No way was she going risk getting into a tangle with then CP. If he was unhappy with that then it was his problem. He should have been here to take delivery. Good job she had charged an inflated price for the cargo. He wasn't one of her regulars and you never knew how things would pan out on a first job. Even if he collected the shipment after she'd left orbit she doubted he'd pay up the balance of the fee. If he did, well she'd mark him down as more reliable than he was looking right now.

All to well leaving a story line but vue is an amazing piece of software - capable of such emense results. Everything about this image is so wrong. Sometimes its better to delete and start again. The best artists know it takes 20 trys to get the aquired image

I disagree completly. This is actually the second in what may apperantly be a series. The first one was great, and this is also an incredible image. Note that there are distinctive differances between this and the first render, apart from the obvious addition of cargo outside the ship, a different view of our heroine, and so on, note that the reflective shadowing on the inner ship airlock has been darkened indicating a change in the derection of the light, IE the passage of time, and the movement of the sun. It's subtle but a clever effect, and effective. I think this peice is remarkably well done, Bravo celtxian, keep up the great work and don't you dare delete this image, it deserves to be seen! ^^

Thx for your comments, even the critical ones! If I didn't want critical ones (ie ones that make valid points) then I wouldn't allow comments, so I am happy for all comments. Thx CrimsonDesire for your support, much appreciated. Yes, you are right, I did change the angle of the sun etc to indicate the passage of time. Of course, as this is meant to be an alien world its somewhat arbitary where you place the sun(s) anyway! Once I return from holiday later this month I hope to build a more complete model of the ship so I can do an exterior shot, as at the moment its just a basic corridor with a basic default texture. As for the story, I have started writing it so maybe I'll post that too at some stage. Meanwhile, thx for even bothering to look, never mind comment.

This 'situation' she is in has sure gotten my curiosity up. I will be waiting to see if her client shows up, or if the CP arrive before she can leave, or what.
