Description

WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE A RUBBER CHICKEN?! Love me, Love my rubber chicken! Forget my kids they already think I'm certifiable! I recently worked at a summer camp. Harriette broke the ice with all the teacher's and students. There she sat on the couch that faces the door. Each day students would pass and peek their heads in. They'd look at Harriette, look at me and walk away scratching their heads. Until one day a brave little 4 year old girl named Jasmine came in. She squeezed Harriette, giggled and squeezed her some more. Then she went into the hallway stood on one leg like a Rooster and they squawked and giggled together. Fifteen year olds would come and poke her. Then try to hide a giggle from me. Then the teachers would come in and grab her squeezing all their frustrations out in the hallway. Jasmine would see this and teach them how to stand on one leg.(there is a method to squeezing ya know!) Each day there would be someone that would come in with a belly ache, even a paper cut just so they could give her a squeeze. LOL! They loved Harriette so much, these pictures are going to be in the brochure for next years summer camp! Stay tuned for more adventures of Harritette. ~~~~~~ Everyone needs a giggle~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Now who doesn't love a rubber chicken. Working with small kids has to be a great job. My departed wife was a playground monitor at a pre-school for several years (long ago) and she really loved it. Harriette sounds like the perfect instrument for breaking down barriers.. and a lot easier to take care of! Very obedient too... just place on a couch and say "Stay!" and she will never budge an inch. Wonderful photo's Michelle. Fun story also. Excellent and made my day. Hugs from Dave :^)

What a delightful tale Michelle, what I'd give to be that Rubber Chicken, if only for just one squeeze that would give such joy! ;) Congratulations on getting your picture in the brochure! Bravo!

Excellent!! (I used one in my 'work' environment. Every time my people got 'angry' at the 'boss' (ME) I told them to go and ''WRING THE RUBBER CHICKEN'S NECK!'' Btw: I had to buy THREE, rubber chickens in one year. WINK). T.P.
