Description

'Playmate' What if children really can see creatures that adults can't and just because we are unable to detect them doesn't mean they aren't there. How often have we heard of a child having a 'pretend' friend but what if that friend was real and from another dimension - somewhere dark and evil. It is said that these demons enter houses from the darkness beneath the stairs! A nice cheery thought :) Thanks for looking. Tony

I freely admit, I still have a lot to learn. Anyone who visits my homepage, will see that, but I DO try my hardest to learn, even at the tender age of 54! lol. Doing your best at whatever educational level, is praiseworthy in itself and I for one love much of the art on here and especially this excellent piece. I would suggest, that if Horibin's Son tries as hard as many of the talented artists on here do, then he will have every reason to be very proud of his Son's achievements. That is all a parent can hope for, in this day and age, that they just give it their best IMHO. You have thought this through magnificently and I love the lighting. Something I don't think I am capable of achieving yet. I admire your artwork very much indeed. Steve :o)

Fantastic idea and image! We adult people really should watch closer some times, too bad most of us loose the imagination and creativity of childhood in boring offices or in front of the TV! Obviously this is much different in your case!! :-))

Horibin your a living joke! I see you've never posted anything here so you must be a "Grand" artist yourself in any medium. How cowardly is that? Like the avid football fan who knows how the game should be played but can't see his toes because of the whopping beer belly. Renderosity is damaging your son's education eh? Well maybe you should cut off his internet, while your at it maybe you should avoid logging in here if your so bitter about it's members their opinions and their efforts. But maybe your bitter that your son still joined this site dispite your fine guidance.I don't waste time criticizing work I don't like there are too many posts. The ones I do like I will offer my own critique or praise.I have received constructed criticizm on a number of my own posts that had prompted me to try to improve the image,so I find you tyraid somewhat inaccurate.Surely you've never been to a large art gallery and have seen what it feels as the best in art.Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say.Post up or shut up or just leave.Sorry Bogwoppet for using your excellent posting as a sounding board but that monkey needed a bananna. :B eaver !

Quite an interesting journey reading all of these posts ;}} VERY, VERY rarely do I ever find anything in your work that I think could be done better.Let me add another VERY ;}} Here I especailly like the use of the ball and the interaction between the 2 characters. Our own imagination lets us decide if they are friend or foe. AWESOME, Tony

Absolutely awesome work - love the lighting especially. All kinds of creatures try to lure children - perhaps some we adults never see. Bravo!!

Wonderful scene! Without knowing the title, this scene can actually be interpreted in several ways -- is the 'demon' seducing the innocent girl, or just wanting to be her friend? Love the scene!
