Description

Pic from a couple of years ago. These little guys and their mothers (2 families) made it a habit to come up to our patio and eat the cat food in the evenings. After a while they got so used to me & the camera that they'd let me sit on the edge of the patio while they ate. They were good little guests - never sprayed me, the patio, or our cats if they were outside. This is not behavior I'd recommend - startle them and you're fair game. They are wild animals who also have sharp teeth & claws and there's always the possibility of rabies. Oh, but they were so cute!

Clearly you are out of your mind! Having been subject to their wonderful perfume at close range,my now spidey senses can detect these critters about 4 or 5 minutes before anybody else and can be seen running into the sunset before they can utter "What's the......?" A daring and unusual image! :B eaver !

Now this is a first! We used to have o'possums that made a nightly raid on the cat food, but usually only one at a time. Two families of skunks is just wild! Great capture and good thing you have proof of the smelly critters dining on your patio. I thoroughly enjoyed this pic! ;)

Great capture. Amazing that the flash didn't startle them.

You're far braver than I, "Gunga Din"! Great photo. Love the background story with it.
