dusk at the Table Mountain in Cape Town/SA
not my best image, but I just wanted to render this
beautiful place, though I found only some DEMs with only few detail.
I converted them (hgt files) with LandSerf to bmp files (8 bit).
Adjusted heights in World Machine and then did a lot of painting in Photoshop.
Removing noise and artifacts, reconstruct areas of missing data and so on.
In World machine I added some Perlin and Erosion to give it more detail.
Not very much though, cause I wanted to preserve the original shape aswell. Hope you like it.
