Description

While browsing the fields around my acreage, I stumbled upon these flowers. I guess the fly likes them, too! Anything you like or dislike - feel free to comment. Thanks! Jodie :0)

So how long did it take to talk the fly into posing? Seriously, this is another fantastic shot. And the fence post out of focus -- with a glass insulator yet -- really adds to the picture, too.

Very apt title and the presence of the fly makes the delicate flowers that much more natural. I love the POV.

Nice shot Jodie :) And i can see that you captured what is that! Is it a mother fly or a black bee? :)) The D70 is doing a great job specially whe it comes to capture nature.. I didn't see those flowers before tho, unless they grow differnetly here in MI.. Anways.. I like your post, it is well composed and has an awesome POV.. Thank you for sharing your art and have a lovely day/night JOE

Oh my. That is one stunning shot Jodie. The focus couldnt have been any better. And the DOF showing off enough details in the pole, and that blue sky...makes the setting sooo perfect for these gorgeous daisies. Are they daisies? Mighty thin petals though. And you even got a fly in there...whooo hoooo! Just a superb composition that gets even more points for its clean and classy presentation. Have a wonderful day J. #:O)

Beautiful shot, with a lot of depth. Both focus and blur are outstanding. Personally I'm a little unsure about the composition here, actually the percentage of 'in focus' parts versus the blurred parts... Maybe a bit less of the pole, and more of the flowers... I think those flowers look like daisies, but they could be some variety of what we call 'Margriet', much bigger and they don't have a pleasant smell...

The DOF seems perfect to me... the crisp image of the flowers juxtaposed with the slightly abtstract fence post. Excellent shot! FIVE STARS

That must be one of those trick questions, Jodie. What's NOT to like??? Geeze, if I could do macros like this I'd quit my day job. Awesome! I especially like the fence post in the background and the insulator - reminds me of the old telephone poles in the rural areas where I was raised. Wonderful composition and photography!
