Wow, Andreas! A perfect POV to get the maximum visual effect from the jetty. The composition is so perfect (position of the boat, etc) I would almost think it was a painting. And the clouds seem to hold the mountain down! If you ever visit, don't even think about shooting waterfalls - you'll be teaching me photography!!!

I too hope you get to have a wonderful birthday Nathalie -- such a nice dedi here from Andreas! All I can say is ...you've done it again! Brilliant landscape! It appeals to me, your postwork is top notch and really created the perfect mood for this scene. Mysterious, a little ominous, yet somehow peaceful. A winner here buddy, have a great Friday and weekend and enjoy those longjumps!

Amazing! It surely has some Bryce/Terragen/Vue specific beautiful unnatural atmosphere in it, and it's clearly a Photo at the same time. The Golden Middle from the both worlds I'd say.

What a combination....colorful ominous clouds, serene bay and mountains. Multiple personalities? Some of my favorite things! Not to be picky, like you are with me, LOL, but why no stark reflection of the clouds in the water? Neato anyway! Have a wonderful weekend!

Sniff pout...Andreassssss!!!Systran won't let me use the translator today! It seems they want money from me all of a sudden.Greedy stinkers, lol.Like I would ever actually pay for it,when you tell me how awful it is,but hysterically funny. Can you imagine anyone actually paying good money for it?LOL. Anyway,I'm sorry...I know you like when I do that. :^( Regarding this photo:Your postwork is always so impressive,Andreas.I love the stormy clouds and the moody atmosphere of this.Wonderful composition, too. That boat appears so tiny!It could almost be a toy boat.Somehow, those jetty things change the entire scale of this.Congratulations on another beautiful photograph in your already wonderful gallery,Mister Master.I can assure you, there aren't many people who would be tired of this image in three days or three years!Excellent, once again.Have a beautiful weekend,my friend.-M :^) PS I hope you and your wife had a wonderful anniversary, yesterday. And,last but not least...Happy Birthday,Nathalie! Many happy returns of the day to you!

I read the words! Did you add the mist? Tell me about the boat. Is it really that small, cuz it makes those rocky wave breakers look immense!! I love this photo and I doubt very much if you'll be sick of it in 3 days! :0)

A powerful sky here and even after zooming in and disecting it, I found there were too many wonderful details to my brain to handle. The softness in front, the power in the ski, the glaze of the water, it all works in this.
