Description
The night before last was a full moon. I woke up at 2 am and lay there looking at the shadows and light on the curtains as they blew in and out on the night breeze. I often lay there looking at all the different shadows on the walls from the street lights and neighbours' security lights - and sometimes I am tempted to get my camera. But this time, I actually did it. My poor husband is used to the chaos I sometimes create when I am photographing stuff - but not normally at 2am!
All sorts of things went wrong - my batteries died and I was trying to change them in the dark, the tri-pod tipped because of the weird angle - then I decided I wanted a rose in it and the roses were downstairs etc etc. Then clouds went over the moon and I went back to sleep for a while. Eventually, I got this and I used layers to give it the soft glowy look. There is quite a bit of light pollution from lamps and also the docks a few miles away. There's lots of noise in this but I thought I'd post it anyway because it was such a memorable and unusual dead of night session when I should really have been sleeping!

This is photography at its best'its a painting..Your an artist at heart and its so nice to see you realise your full potential'(more to come I hope) Its going to my favourite Images' not because i know you' it stands out on its own merit' regardless of the artist.... I think you are moving into a new stage in your Art. Going to get the roses downstairs' thats a feeling and dedication I am familiar with. I could go on and on but it might seem condescending' This is an Excellent piece of work and deserves much more Credit than I can give it......The shading and lighting are perfect'' wish i could do this in Bryce. Hats off to you for this one....Really love it. Excellent a big 10 if i could.5+....Oh and the title and story behind it... well thats an artists touch

Gotta empathize with the obsession. I'll stand on my head if I have to. And time is of the essence or the mood/shot is fleeting, as is a dream. thanx ;-)
