Description

This was taken at the top of Grey Mere's Tail,an hours walk but well worth it. This area supports the greatest range of rare upland plants. The varied bird life includes Peregrines, Heron,Dippers,Grey Wagtails and skylarks. The clean waters are now populated by Vendance, Britain's rarest freshwater fish, recently introduced as part of a species recovery programme after being killed by pollution in Mill Loch at Lochmaden.

Scotland is very much like Norway in a way...only "smoother" hills and mountains. I cant wait to go back there. Beautiful photo even with the blown sky. Have a great day. #:O)
