Description

A pic from a resent visit to one of my favorite places, Ghost Ranch. It's about 75 miles north of Santa Fe, NM. This place inspired famous artist Georgia O'Keef, as you can see why. I'm sorry I haven't had the time to comment or post lately. I am allowing comments, because I miss the contact with all my RR friends. Unfortunately, I still don't have the time to comment =(. Please forgive me. If I ever get caught up, I promise to to catch up on all your galleries. Take care and have a great week. Get out and shoot some pics today =)

.... great southwestern shot - in which you purposefully break the rule of straight horizons -- and it works beautifully.

What a fantastic view... I must visit New Mexico... I once worked with a lady who been to New Mexico and Arizona. She also traveled alot in Europe as well... Those two states were her most favorite places she had visited. Paris, France was her second favorite.... Awesome landscape and photography....

You can see why the Native Americans were so into sand painting - are the colors in the rim country so striking! Love the twisted Junipers too. They add a special visual element. Sometimes your photos make me miss the Southwest, Ray, but then I visit another spectacular waterfall and I'm not so sure. Both areas are spectacular in their own ways. Take care, and welcome back, if only for a few moments.
