Taken at the Johannesburg Zoo, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
These little guys are known as "meerkat" - they are the most adorable little creatures! SO funny!
I was standing there, for quite some time, watching them and laughing at their antics! I actually knew someone who had one as a pet - they can be domesticated, but they are SO naughty! :)
I wouldn't mind having one of them... but I don't think our cat would be impressed :)

oh, I love those little guys. I only get to see them on National Geographic. When my kitty mrrrowls at me, sometimes I call her my little meerkat. She doesn't look anything like these guys... I do remember from the TV show, they are adorable little citters. This is a wonderful capture you made of the little guys.

Nice capture! They have some of these at "The Memphis Zoo", here in my town and I always love watching these guys.
