Description
This is the third plane I painted. I figured nobody painted this puppy before but it's been done already. Oh well, This was actually a very difficult one to paint. The bird lines up with the tail and the tail is twice the scale of the plane so I had to make the tail wing part 1/2 the size to get it to line up. It was interesting to say the least. There is no light or even dark for that matter. It's all painted.

Nice sky and overall very nice howeve the front wheel is in the ground.

Ya it looks that way but it's not. It's microsofts light effects, it makes it look like it's in the ground. The bottom of the wheel is lit up from there fake lights and makes it look like it's in the ground. If you put on the brakes full and rev the engines the front picks up a bit of course but we we're just grabbing screen shots. Never made the program only painted the plane. Good news is in a few days you'll be able to download this puppy from Flightsim.com and take it for a flight yourself if you own FlightSimulator 2000 or 2002.

I'm intrigued - how on earth do you get an FS2K+2 aircraft into VdE4? Yes - I AM an FS user!! :-)

LordWexford: I started the textures in Vue 4 then hand painted the rest and took a screen shot in FS 2002. I said a few places on these plane shots that these are not renders there just pictures. I just posted them to show what possible to make in Vue if you put your mind to it. It took about 100 hours to paint I figure. It's 62 512 X 512 textures. Tthere is night, day with and without landing lights sets. Of course eveything works. Landing gear, stearing, flaps, spoilers, even the engines are animated. I made 4 (400 hours) planes total and will have them up at FlightSim.com soon.
