Description

Hey guys, gonna sneak in a post here, I was just messing around with some filters, LOL! I think it looks like a needle point, or a rug or something. I originally took the photo last spring, while visiting my family in Joshua Tree, it is in the Southern California desert. This was actually taken at a little western style swapmeet in Yucca, close by. Anyways, I decided to play around with it last night, thought it looked kind of well...interesting anyway, tell me what ya think! I have to take off and work for a while, but when I come back I will check out every ones new work that I have missed the last couple of days! Thanks to everyone who viewed and commented on my last post, I am so glad that you liked it!

Are you telling me that this piece of work is originally a photo of a real man and his duck? Or was it some kind of wall-decoration that you photographed? Because if this is made from the real thing....the...GAAAAAAAASP!!!! It looks sooo damn cool!!!!!! Awesome stuff Janice! And the wooden-frame is perfect for it! Have a wonderful day. #:O)

LOL @ Zacko!!! and the cow is really wearing cowboy boots too??? LOL!!! It really does look like needlepoint though, maybe a small thumb of the real shot would have given some the actual idea you sprang from...

Wow, Janice, what a great idea!!!! I think it would make an excellent needlepoint!!! I haven't done one in quite awhile, but maybe I'll have to pick it back up again!!! LOL @ Andreas!!! Swedish "country" must be alot different then US "country"!!!!! P.S. I've also been playing around alot with filters..... fun, huh?

With the southwestern flavor, I might advertise it as "lizardskin." You're right, tho, it is quite unique and interesting. Very creative!
