A self-proclaimed exile, disgusted by the apathy and self-indulgent decadence that rotted the Bright Empire from with-in, Syn wanders the world in vigorous pursuit of adventure and power; a throw back to ancient times, when the Dragon Lords of Melnibone ruled the world from the backs of the dragons they rode to war. A cruel and amoral race without humanity, born to sorcery and sworn to Chaos, their ten thousand year reign ended three centuries ago, when they retreated to Imrryr and fell into drug-induced dreams of lost glories and undiscovered perversions. A noble, warrior-assassin, thief and sorcerer, Syn's greatsword, Shadow-mar is an ancient demonblade bond to his service by his own sorcery. The third "revisiting" of Syn...
