Description

After seeing all the cool recent 3d mesh renders in the galleries i decided to use some 3d meshes that i created in a program called Xenodream some time ago.. Up til now i never bothered with them but its quite fun incorporating them into mojoworld.. I could not get the thing to cast a shadow onto my isosurface though despite some advice from Dmytry.. Can anybody shed more light on that one ? Clouds are volumetric and terrain is fairly simple isosurface. Thanks for viewing..

Great one! re: shadows. In this image, the shadow from object should actually be hitting ground behind the camera. Also, the object itself (and camera) is in the shadow of cloud.

Yes - a wonderful render, clouds are great too - also fine mesh import from Xenodream. Not sure why you cant get shadows on Isosurfaces ? - I've done it loads of times....

Nice Xeno import!.....I agree with above very cool clouds!!....Great work!!...Keep trying those Xeno-imports man...I've done quite a few myself and they sometimes work very well.
