Description

It's been a while since I posted anything. It's also been a while since I even did any rendering at all. I kind of lost interest again for a while. That, plus I've been playing a lot of video games again, which eats up a huge part of my free time, even more so now that I finally have a half decent video card instead of the less than stellar onboard video. So, the title reflects my neglect of Poser/D|S/Bryce/etc. But it's also a bit of a reflection on Stephanie. I've hardly used her since I got her - even for the renders that I end up trashing for some reason or other. So, for my "return" pic, I chose to remedy that. I'm not sure what to think of the results, but I think it turned out okay, and even better after feeding it to PSP for a bit of postwork on the lips (to fix a rather visible difference where the lip material meets the innerMouth material), then a bit more to the entire image. I went through a bunch of different poses, most of them with an open mouth, but I wasn't wholly satisfied with what I saw - Stephanie's arms and shoulders didn't look quite right, plus the issue regarding her lips. Thus, a close up on her face with closed mouth, and not the waist up shot I originally worked on. I need to work more on creating poses. And is there a mesh smoothing option in DAZ|Studio that I'm overlooking so I can get shoulders that don't look angular? Texture is Genevieve by Syltermermaid, except for the eye textures, which are from Christabelle by CDB Productions (yarddog, Chrislenn). The hair is Long Hair Evo by Kozaburo. I forget which/whose pose I wound up using. It might be something by Firebirdz.
