Description

"....and he repeated his visits to the flagon so often that at least he began to feel both giddy and drowsy. His eyes swam, his head began to nod, and he gradually sank to the ground and fell into a deep sleep." Another tale by Washington Irving about the man who slept for 20 years after playing nine-pins with a strange troll-like group of men. Just remember that when you hear thunder, it is really Rip and his friends playing nine-pins (bowling). Not quite a 'fairy tale' but one of "the guys" favourite stories! Daz; Cornucopia3D; Mapps; RDNA; tor clothing textures by me Thanks in adance for all your comments and smiles! Have a great week and see you next Tuesday!!!

Fantastic composition and atmosphere. His beard gives an account of the time he has been sleeping. The scene seen through the spider web is a wonderful idea. ... and I thought that Rip VAn Winkle was a painter. 8-)

It's a wonderful story and will do just fine for a fairy tale, or at least for a furry tail. Another wonderful image, Wendy! Love that spider web!

Well I think it's a fine fairy tale! I always loved this story. I love his long mousie beard. It gives the feeling of him being there a long time. Nice touch with the spider and web! Bravo!

Delightful Wendy... Love his enchanted forest, and his beard is so long I hope he wakes up soon.. or he might find some wee field mice sleeping in it... Excellent work and as magical as always.
