Description
Wasp like insect sporting interesting colors. Very difficult to capture as they keep moving around very quickly: it took one and a half hour of patient wait untill one of them dared to rest on this flower for about 5-6 seconds. Anybody knows which species it is?
Nikon D70, Sigma 105mm Macro, 1/1000s at f/11.

What an awesome looking wasp! Green? WOW! At least its tail has the "right" color. And by the looks of things...it wasnt a very big wasp so that makes this capture even more impressive. Great job! #:O)

Incredible what nature throws together in colours...this wasps looks like something that has escaped from bio-security! OR MAYBE... a G.E wasp! Incredible capture!
