Description

We all have our own point of view regarding just about every subject, including how we see ourselves. The very unique and beautiful Giaan is looking at herself, not in a mirror, but through a special glass which will allow her to see her true self! My questons to you are: How many would dare view themselves as they really are? And on which side of this glass is the real Giann? Giaan "Pale Moon Rising" for V3 by Artemis_Sun. I can relate this to some pretty amazing times experamenting with mind altering drugs(grew up in the bay area in the 60s)alot of the substances(LSD,peyote,ect.)would drop all your defences and strip you of your ego..and if your not comfortable with yourself it can be wierd...as my buddys mom used to say"you could go on a bum voyage"..lol..Wonderful piece of art and cool concept!!

A superb thought-out theme you've set up here in a wonderful, sentimental way ! And you're right - could be a extrem frightful moment for everyone to face themself , if a mirror like above would exist ... For some reason it reminds me to that movie called "Shallow Hal" with Gwyneth Paltrow and Jack Black ...

Astounding! I love the way you show the character both in colour and in b&w which, right away, makes the viewer question something about her. I'm not sure I could look through a special glass since I have a problem with just a regular mirror. :o/ As for which one I think is the real Giaan? I think both, since we're all multi-dimensional creatures. I think there's so many facets to each one of us, we'd need numerous special windows to truly see our whole selves. Exceptional artwork and observation!

That's awesome! Image and the idea behind it! For #1: I cajole myself to thrive for this real look but, I'm not sure if I'd dare... For #2:The left and colorful is the real Giaan. ;-)
