Description

This little fella crept up behind me then posed for a picture and scurried off into the woods. It's an American Red Squirrel and is aparently quite common in this area although I have never seen one before. I thought that it was an overgrown Chipmunk but looked it up when I noticed that there were no stripes down his back.
