Description
I never saw this variety of sunflower before yesterday, and obviously don't know its actual name.
Terrypom -- wizard of all things flora that grows -- probably knows.
Not much light evident in this photo because it was very early on a cloudy morning when I snapped it, resulting in some postwork to bring out the flower's finer points.

What a nice surprise...my own dedication. Thank you!!! This is a beauty for sure. I also have some with different colors, they are all Sunflowers, just named differently. I have one named "Joker". I'll have a shot of that one in soon....it has frilled petals. What strikes me about your flower is how similar all the petals are...amazing! Thanks again!
