Somehow, there's irony here...a vulture on a power pole crossarm, master of all it surveys. The Moon just happened to be in the right place.

Irony or planning ahead? There's an old Chinese figure of speech--"waiting for the rabbit to run into the tree." The larger context is the tale of man standing by a tree when a rabbit ran into it full speed ahead and was fatally injured. The man naturally gathered it up and had a very nice dinner. The next day he went back to the tree to wait for the next rabbit....
