I love these little charmers! I won't use insecticides because my garden is full of them and I don't have any problems with "bladls". Wonderful macro!

Excellent macro of this beautiful creature. I don't use pesticides either, for this reason.

Great macro. I don't advocate the use of pesticides, however, we are overrun with black widow spiders and they are so dangerous that sometimes it must come to that. In times past, when I've had to resort to a spray for these menaces, I hear only the echo of the silence as I fall asleep at night. It usually kills the crickets and their lovely, soothing night songs. Again, beautifully clear capture.

Yup, Ladybugs sure like Aphids. Farmers strive for them i think they'll even pay for a bucket load.

She's a little Ant farm raider :o) The Ants herd Aphids around on the plants so the Aphids suck the fluids out of the plants. The Aphids then extrude honeydew that the Ants take to their nests. The Ants then spread the honeydew onto plant fibers that the Ants collect so they can grow mold, and that is what the Ants eat, the mold.... Heck of a cycle these little guys go through... The ladybug just wiped out the Ants herd of Aphid cows :o) but that is OK if there get to be to many Aphids the Ants eat them too :o) Isn't life wonderful?
