Bombs Away by frogdot

*** I've been in the process of modeling the Yale Apartment building for a while. Finished enough to make an image.
Yes, it's true. On the internet, I'm a rather dull, mild-mannered digital artist, but in real life, I am actually Superfrog.
"Faster than a speeding dragonfly, stronger than a flathead catfish. Able to leap ten hungry alligators in a single bound. Look! Out in the swamp! It's a bird. It's a boat. It's Superfrog!"

For me, ideas are like butterflies that are flittering around by the dozens. Just grab one and render it, then move on to the next.
BIO:
I began 3D art with Bryce 3 in April 1999. Before that I played with various 2D styles and techniques. Back in the mid-70's and 80's, I worked in metal sculpture and had a line of "frog prints" selling in stores all over Southern California and Arizona. I have been in art in some capacity since childhood. Since the computer came along, I 've pr3etty much lost touch with brushes, pens and pencils which I regret.

Cool pic. It's a shame the world is not so simple anymore.

Before I scolled down and saw the rest of your picture I thought, Frogger! If you have never played that game, it's a little frog dashing acroos the stret avoiding cars. This is showing my age :-) I love this picture, and all of the ones you do. I always feel SOMETHING (even if it's just confusion LOL) looking at your art!

I do the same too!! Except that we use strips of paper and tear it so it twirls when it catches the wind. Its one of those little things that you play when you grew up in a apartment building with a balcony...:) good times and thank you!

I knew you never grew up... we used the little oak-wing "helicopters" alot. Did you ever build a nice Revell plastic model - and then blow it up?

Love the way your images and verse blend seamlessly into an experience!..feel like I was there! Lemon... I still toss up the oak seed copter once in awhile myself. Water balloons at 15 stories would have been my weapons of choice...HEHE

Oh man, I would have loved to have been able to do that as a kid. Looks like a lot of fun. Closest I came to that was parachuting cats out of my cousin's barnloft.
