Description

www.matttidball.com Got lucky on my last day for a good sunset. After the sun went down a couple of other tripod photographers on the beach were bitching about how disappointed they were with the sunset. Did these other guys even see the rays? Or was this sunset really a dud compared to others? I guess these guys were looking for a pink or purple sky. I have many more shots of this sunset in different stages. I might post another one soon. If this is too dark for you then you probably need to get a new monitor or brighten your screen.

For those of you with expensive screens: this image might look funny...I brightened up the background sky near the two monoliths so the average screen could see some contrast.

WOW! It looked good on all four of my screens. And yes it was a little bright on my big screen but awesome never the less. Very professional of you to adjust for the majority of screens out there. Just beautiful! KP

Very beautiful. Funny how defined the line of crisp/blurred reflection is in the foreground... I think I would clone out the birds (?) over the monolith on the right, they look like black dirt dots, bit distracting. A truly wonderful sunset, excellent job :)

Yeah, the bird does bug me, but when the picture is full size the bird actually looks like a bird. I actually did clone out a few birds from this that looked like dirt dots even at full size.
