Description


This is a railway water tower that originally stood next to a turntable. This was used to turn the steam trains around. The turntable is gone, but the old water tower is in mint condition and is listed by the Australia National trust.

Yes I had to lie in the broken glass etc to take the shot!!! The structure at the top collected the water for use in the steam strains. It was much bigger than it may appear in the photo. Maybe 4 to 5 floors high at least.
