Description

And now, after a looong time again, the third of "Three-in-One, One-in-Three", the last one (I think ?!?). Unfortunately, due business occupations, I have not time enough for artwork :( so I have to post rarely and few works. I hope for more and better times. About the picture: Too many problems and tragedies in the World... Mater is suffering and crying. The "Child-World" offers to go beyond. I think, all we really need to look away, to the future, to build a more right and hopeful tomorrow.

That is an extraordinary painting. 2 days ago, with the suggestion of my friend Mark Ginwright "Tralfaz" (see his superb gallery, sure you shall really love it), I visited one of the images that were favorites to him, and I was completely upset by "An angel" by the great Akhastur (posted Nov. 6th, 2005), and many people were so too, because two pages of comments have been posted to. "An angel" is exactly of the same mood as your picture. This summer, I have been mad of the Israel-Lebanon war, so many innocent lives destroyed on both sides and stupid as well as completely unuseful destructions. Who finally won this war? Nobody? I do'nt think, somebody finally won and took a true pleasure with that ruin. This made me ask myself about the evil's nature. I shall continue this thoughts in a future post on my gallery with my current "Villains" series (comic is a way to be in touch with very serious questions, is'nt it?), but anyway I shall come back to your marvelous picts with other much more basic questions. Thanks for your precious gift, Mondwin.

A future beyond the lies of the uber rich corporations. Playing their deadly games like the gods of old with the lives of the supposed 'useless eaters'. A future with no more compromise , a future with the slate wiped clean where all that remains is respect amongst peoples. Thats the future we fight for and do not accept any other.

A beautiful, tender and haunting image, and so immaculate in composition and colouring. But then I could say the same about any of your pictures! Very lovely and so moving. Mike xx
