Description
It's that time again.. Vicious Rumors is on the cusp of their next album release, and deadlines for album art were so tight I squeaked through an all-nighter working with guitarist/mastermind Geoff Thorpe to complete the insert layout Wednesday night/Thursday morning (2006/08/16-17). I wasn't involved in the process until the first deadline passed, so normal design protocols weren't followed and no time was allowed for planning & such. They had a working image that was initially planned to be the final art, and I basically used that as a template upon which to build this image. A little AutoCAD to model the ball, then into Bryce for rendering, and then PhotoSHOP CS for the logo, title, effects & polish. (Didn't realize I could no longer upload more than one image per day. This isn't the actual album cover. That will get uploaded perhaps tomorrow)

Wow! Great cover! Lots of firey red and yellow to catch the eye and steel lettering to stand out, looks great ^^
