We actually did that play when I was in high school and it hit me very hard being a WOC!! The scene that sticks in my mind is when the father holds the babies out the windows in order to get the woman back and ends dropping both babies to cause the woman pain no matter how much she pleaded!! Awesome work here with the colours and pose!!

I remember both the book and the play very well. Problem is I never read the story or saw the play. (I'm so ashamed.) You and many of your commenters have made me VERY curious.
