Description
This is dedicated to Tigroaica, who is a wonderful artist, and is sadly laid up in bed following a fall.

According to certain Quantum Theories, all possible outcomes and eventualities must happen somewhere, with each possibility causing a bifurcation- or branching- of the universe. These 'alternate' universes are separated from our own by the thickness of a shadow, but are totally separate, allowing the playing out of all possibilities.
Possibly, Quantum Mechanic's simply make it up as they go along. After all, what do you expect from a group of people who name elementary particles things like Boson's and Lepton's?
(Quantum Theory, as Lu-Tze- the Sweeper in Terry Pratchett's Discworld Books- might say, "Is a bugger.")
This image was actually an accident- it started off going to be something totally different. But, the accident then gave me the idea for this.
A sphere 4000 units, with 50 Vertical Sections and 150 circle sections. Then, in Face mode, I pick ranged every 79 faces. Made these a sub-group and hid the sub-group. Then, deleted the extraneous faces, and applied Particle. Made the particles sphere's and the object fuly reflective.
Applied the Earth map as a Global Brush in the Stage Editor, and rendered. (Originally, I used a star map from the Hubble Telescope, but felt that the idea of hundreds of almost Parallel 'Earths' was more powerful. The idea of an infinite number of dimensions is widely accepted.)
Rendered in IFW 1.0, on the works PC.....
