Description

Please be kind, I decided to try my hand at nightime scenery and without a tripod (used a picnic table) This was taken directly across from the Kangaroo Island Lodge in American River (on Kangaroo Island, South Australia) in complete darkness with a full moon. (only postwork was noise filter and size reduction) I have one or two more of these to share and hope to find somewhere around here to get more practice with this because its fun :-) Thank you for your much appreciated comments! Have a wonderful day! Wendy

A dramatic shot. I find it lacks a bit of subject but the light on the water is lovely and pops right out. Nice capture.

I love your composition. Not only the light is fantastic but also the way you captured the clouds in a 3D effect is very special.

this is a lovely night shot... the noise filter worked well.. I have a couple suggestions but nothing major.. Those two lights, I think I would have cloned them out and rotated the picture clock-wise.. Other than that.. great job!

Well, I like it alot. I think you did a fantastic job at capturing the "moment" with no tripod. So whatcha' doing in the land down under? I've always wanted to go there. Great job Wendy. Can't wait to see the others. (My computers down so I have to visit a friend in order to get on. Will be fixed shortly though.)

It looks like it was very still when you shot this. Lovely glassy water. The clouds are full of interest. Very nice!!

Hi Wendy ! I don't agree with those suggesting a rotation or another centring or little lights to rub out.. Your shot is natural, and got splendid melted colors giving romantic and quiet atmosphere. Love it !! Great work q:) Magali
