The skycycle jerked and almost plunged Jin into the posionous water below them. She slid down behind 399 and put him in a head-lock with her left arm. He jerked at her touch. She growled, "WHAT the fuck are you doing?" 399 angrily bit off, "Let go of me. LOOK at the screen!" She looked over his shoulder. On the viewer for the skycycle, it read,"New course being input. New course accepted. Maximum Speed accepted. Sorry for taking over your ride--my daughter has bigger problems." A multi-colored woman's face that looked remarkably like Toxic's appeared for an instant and the screen locked up. 399 whispered, "Toxic's MOTHER? She's DEAD! We found her BONES!" The Skycycle rotated as Jin tightened her grip on her inch thick piece of rebar. Jin whispered, " 'Though the mouth of Hell, past the fires of creation, to the forge of heaven itself--you can not stop me, for I am the Hammer of God!' Book of Jadala, chapter 212." 399 said, "Oh, shit." Whenever human people get that tone, hell gets unleashed. "Hang ON!" His shout was whipped away by the wind as the skycycle jumped into motion. It went hundreds of kilometers an hour in one second with little percieved acceleation. The wind inside the cycle's area barely topped a hundred kph. 399 was ashen by the casual twisting and rampant discarding of the laws of physics he knew. The cityscape around them was a blur as Jin held onto 399. As they shifted back into normal speeds or about sixty kph, Jin cringed as they shot into the broken window of an old warehouse.
