Description

If you're from anywhere near here you might roll your eyes at me for this. But coming from the Gulf Coast I was unprepared. There is nothing wrong with this tree. It's actually beginning to take on its Fall colors! Sorry if I sound naive but that just doesn't happen in August where I was raised. I know, the picture is not very clear. Every now and then me and this camera go 'round and 'round. It always seems to win. Anyway, this is for my friends and neighbors back home. May their temperatures drop. Hope your Sunday's been great! Thanks for looking! Ken

A tree. Its a tree. Its mostly green and big. If you like the size of this tree, you ought to come out and see the ones on the coastal mountain range. We'd be picking your jaw up off the ground. Nice shot.

It would still be green if it was growing where you come from. No lack of rain or heat here. Nice tree Ken, really don't see the big ones on the coast. thanx ;-)

This big ole maple just wanted to be the first on the block with the fall fashion. I know they can change when it is dry. But it hasn't been that dry. And if that was it, all the maples would be changing. I don't know why it's changing, but it's pretty, and ............ I KNOW WHAT (FALL)OWS .... ok ok follows Good catch dear.

Was just going to say what Kelvin did....lack of water. It's rather early for the colors to be changing...usually mid September, early October. Breaks my heart to see all the distress the trees are experiencing as we've been so short of water for quite a few years in a row now. My black alder is dropping leaves already. Trees are so magnificent..one of my favorite things in life. It looks like a healthy tree and is beautifully shaped. Your capture is crisp and clear as well. Thank you for sharing!
