Description
1870 B'nai Israel Synagogue. Stairwell leading up to the main meeting hall.
The congregation built a new synagogue in the 1950s and sold this building to the Masons, who abandoned it and then sold it to an individual. The building is in need of restoration.
Notice the Star of David on the banister.

Wow, I've only been in this building once. Didn't take pictures. It's one of the sadder buildings of the Island.
