That water is pretty good! And the lighting matches the background prop very well. I'd suggest zooming in the shadow camera on your main light, maybe increase the size of the shadow map, and adding an ambient occlusion node to the deck plank material. That would probably make the shadows of the deck chair on the planks a lot better. Some raytraced reflection on James' skin and the sides of the pool could also increase the realism. You might have to drive the reflection value by a P node so that the reflections are strongest close to the water level. Sounds like a lot of nitpicking, doesn't it? Well, I think it's a very good image and I hope you can use my suggestions to make it even better. Poser 6 is a pretty cool program indeed!
