Description

The other side of Sequoia National Park! It's not all about giant trees in this magnificent National Park. Moro Rock is a 6725 feet (= 2050m) high granite dome inside the park. Above picture is taken on the stairway that is cut into the rock so that visitors can hike to the top. The view from up there is fascinating (and frightening for those who suffer from fear of heights!), for one can overlook a very big part of Sequoia N.P. The photo shows the view to The Great Western Divide with peaks up to almost 13000 ft. I could have stayed there for hours, but as you can see on the top left of the picture some dark and grey clouds made their way in our direction. And after some rumbling in the distance, my youngest daughter and I needed no further warnings to leave the place asap... Take care and enjoy! Oh god! Does that place really exists? WOW!!! What an amazing view! Such incredibly majestic scenery......if this isnt breathtaking i dont know what is. Awesome compo as well with that big rock in the foreground. Really stunning!!! Have a great day. #:O)
