Description

Well... I know none of you were expecting a render like this from me, I know its not great, but for some reason I wanted to take a quick stab at doing a realistic render. The whole thing only took about 15 mins, and I'm sure it will show. I don't like the clouds, but I think the pov and colors came out ok. Anyway, thanks for viewing everyone... to all you guys who do "realistic" renders, what is your secret? -Aaron T.

Amazing sand surface! And this terrain probably offers lots of interesting POVs.

I Like a lot of your images you've done, this one I don't like much when compared to your others. But at least it doesn't have half the screen covered in very nice terragen water and there's no chisel peeks which is good. Look forward to your next render.

You have done just fine here, Aaron. If I may make an observation, the most convincing part of this image for me is where the cliff side is in shadow. As far as realism goes, the haze is just right, the sky colors are perfect, and the colors of the surfaces are quite convincing.

Yes it is out of the norm for you but, exploring the possibilities is a good thing. Keep on this path for a while because personally I want to see where you end up. PS Looking forward to our TW!

nice new direction, very good for fifteen mins!...surfaces especially, agree with you re the sky, but as for realism, I dont think I could add anything that would enhance what you have already created!excellent!
