Description

Tonights image has no message other than to the young person who critiqued my last render claiming those who create TG images with water only 'slap' the image together and have no ability in any other aspect of tg. As all who work with this program know nothing is 'slapped' together in tg and it's hard work, lots of soul and heart into each image. So..... Here is my 'sea' of sand :) with lots of soul put into the atmosphere... and the surface as always... LOL.... Slight contrast adjustment, frame, birds(poly and gon --- not saving and grace) and sig in PSP 9. To those who commented, left a word of encouragement or suggestions for improvement on my last image, my deepest thanks. For my friends who support, encourage and keep my plugging away... my deepest and abiding thanks... :) Tomorrow will slap some water into a tg piece for ya :) be well, as always, Pat

Very nice pic. I like the solitude it gives me. And I agree. Nothing in TG is slapped together. Some of my pics have taken me 2+ hrs to get the way I like , then 2-3 hrs to render. You can vie more of my work here. I just find it easier to post. http://www.renderhaven.com/gallery2/main.php

Every time I get some sour remark, I lol for the poor miserable person. But you know, if it inspires an emotion, you've done a good job whether it is positive or negative. Saying nothing or not even looking is the biggest dissapointment! You can slap together what ever suits you as long as you don't slap me! Nice job, Pat!!!

Wow Pat, incredible atmo! Love the big terrain structure...great surface texturing too! And by the way, whenever I get a questionable comment I always take a look at that persons gallery to see if they really know what they're talking about, and in this particular case...no :-( Keep up the wonderful work Pat!!

Another winner Pat. Slap together? If only they knew how long I have struggled to get the hang of certain things, like strata, etc. Some of my pics have taken a few days to put together - without render time. Ignore them. Something positive came out of it though didn't it? This one! Great work and that sky is amazing!
