great job on me109's cool terrain...are the sharp edges you refer to on the top of the crater ridge?...if so I think that this is limitation of the heightfield and as such you could try to soften them somehow either by exporting the terrain to edit in photoshop or the like, or try editing them out in your favourite terrain editor/generator?...as is this a great shot with cool surface detail and lighting!
