I am a cowboy at heart, I have to admit it. I love spending time with my horse, and the more people I get to know, the more I like spending time with my horse.
Unless of course it's spending time creating images like this one.
BIOMy day job is as an art director for an advertising agency, and with some good fortune, I've actually met 3dExplorer on here. Shouts out!
More or less I have been working as an artist for more than 20 years, professionally. In my private life, I enjoy making music, performing live, and working with my horses (I now have two, Outlaw's Rolling Thunder - a Belgian Draft Tennessee Walker cross) and Jimmy Two Socks - a Tennessee Walker. I am training Thunder for the trails, and we're having a particularly good time discovering a lot about each other and bonding a great deal.
Living in central Illinois is somewhat limiting in my reach artistically, but thankfully I have come across forums like this and others which allow me to expand the reach of my work, and at the same time still enjoy the relative anonymity of living in the midwestern United States.

I think very few people would be a fan of war, they are generally born out of necessity, however some of the technology that war has produced is incredible. The image and dedication are great

Your image is excellent. Beautiful work! The propellers actually look like they're spinning. Your dedication is very moving. Well done!!

I thought it was a Dauntless on the thumbnail. What a great rendering of classic plane and a fine tribute your gramps and to Naval Aviation. It looks like a WWII war bond painting!
