Description

UF4, Twist the Julia Set, Pixel (jp), Doodads II, 3D SFBM, S.F.B.M. II, Fractional Brownian Motion, and MMF3 Alternative fBm. This was a simple exercise with textures. Also a simple color scheme. Like a lot of folks I like to start out with a monochromatic color scheme. The one I use is borrowed from Cindy Meyers. It produces a sepia tone rather than straight black and white. I used no other colors in this picture. Except that in 2 mod iter layers I toned down the luminence in the white a tad so that it didn't contrast so much with the other control point colors.

One of the difficulties when working with different textures -at least one of my difficulties- is finding a balance among them, "the" combination that will bring out all their qualities instead of leaving them struggling with each other. You found that balance. My compliments.
