Description

Technically it's another test render. Just seeing how the car looks with some nicer materials using the free Bryce 5 version. (Been using 4 for a while.) Seems the glass and lighting can look nicer using premium settings, but it takes a lot longer. This will probably be the last render of the car as it is. Now I need to start throwing parts on it again so it can get finished. Modeling is done using Wings3D.

This is the time to notice some modern things. What about those black dot surrounds in the glass? What is the replacement for the ubiquitous "racing mirrors" of the 80's. Does it need a trim tab on the spoiler top of the Kamm back. How about a spook in the front and a ground effects package. (very 70's) What exactly do the exhaust tip(s) look like? The finish is a bit greasy like vinyl as it shows it is not crisply stamped like metal. (At the rear edge, along the rise behind the windows) Do you really want to invite comparisons to the Traubant? Get your drafting brush and sweep this power eraser dust into the wastebin and I will begin anew when the model is finished. No progress occurs when one assumes that the world state of the art is his own state of the art.
