The foreground looks like a prairie in the US Midwest, but the background is definitely a fantasyland, what with the little village, the mist and the fantastic rainbow. All you need now are Dorothy, Toto, the munchkins, and you're home free!

This is a gorgeous scene. It's sunny, there's not a cloud in the sky, and it looks like a calm and peaceful day. so I'm guessing that the rainbow is postworked. Regardless, it's a beautiful composition!
